Yggdrasil

The World Tree otherwise known as Yggdrasil. She is one powerful spirit I recently experienced. I remember learning about the Norse including events such as Ragnarok, Thor's battle with the Midgard Serpent Jormungandr. Even places including Niflheim, Helheim, and Jotenheim I enjoyed learning about them a lot. Yggdrasil happened to capture my interest. All trees are powerful Earth spirits. Yggdrasil being the highest of these Earth spirits.

My experience with Yggdrasil definitely was worth it in the end. Yggdrasil tests those worthy enough to gain the warrior title. Odin completed the ultimate test of a warrior. Even spilled his own blood to prove himself to Yggdrasil. He as a God definitely has some guts. A fellow friend of mine passed Yggdrasil' test himself. With how he explained it his test sounded absolutely horrifying. Yggdrasil will only test you with stuff you can handle spiritually. She will not make it too burdensome. If you give up and do not go through with completing her test. You are deemed unworthy. This test is not for the faint of heart. I suggest being careful if you do take Yggdrasil' test head on.

Some of you probably begin to wonder if I took her test. I am proud to say I did. The tests I took involved overcoming my own fears. My test had different phases with each phase I became stronger. Once I completed all phases Yggdrasil had drawn out my spirit have it travel to another place to earn my title as warrioress. This brought me closer to my truer self. I feel better now since I grew stronger spiritually. My test was emotionally gripping at times, but I pushed on until the end.

Anybody can go to Yggdrasil to test themselves. Be strong enough plus be prepared for each phase coming at you. If you stumble doesn't mean you failed. Just get back up and keep going. Yggdrasil will accept anybody to be tests. Some tests are a lot more intense than other tests. Earlier when I mentioned Odin I suggest you read his test he endured. You could learn what was experienced, even what he gained after surpassing each part.

Also one thing I suggest as well. If you are awaiting for Yggdrasil' decision. Never EVER awaken her during Winter. I didn't awaken her it's best to wait on her to reveal herself. For me it was an uneasy waiting period, but definitely worth the wait. Even when Yggdrasil sleeps in the Winter she is still useful. With how I talk about this you may think it was easy with Yggdrasil' test. To tell you the truth it isn't easy. The test can mess with your emotions, have you endure pain, even lose those you were close to. Some might not understand it is what makes you stronger in the end. It also reveals the truer side of people you knew. Better to find facts out via spirits of authority than word of mouth by humans.

After I went through this test it makes dealing with situations much easier. Knowing you can rise up over those obstacles which get in your way. I am sure some who see this will understand where I am coming from. :)

Connecting to My Inner Self

Since my first phase of Yggdrasil' test I connected much better to my inner self. Our inner self is technically where all the amazing magical events happen. The stronger we connect to our inner self the more we are capable of increasing our spiritual gifts/abilities to help ourselves including others. I use to always find it uber difficult to connect to my inner self, because all I ever was told is to look within myself. Looking within yourself spiritually is super freaking hard to grasp including understanding how to. The first phase I was in last Wednesday I felt it was the right time to look to my inner self. I told her to come and help me protect my friend who was having this entity of some kind drain his power. When growing spiritually and as you increase those psychic senses to work to their full potential there will be entities you never knew existed. It does seem scary a first but you will overcome that fear to deal with them.

I completed my second phase on Sunday if I remember correctly. My second phase involved me using the healing gifts I have on a friend who was having pain in his heart chakra and in his spine. I felt really exhausted after that since it was my very first time ever healing someone else. I never healed before at all. With my inner self she is a destructive force of energy that can pretty much cause harm, but also she is a giver of life she can heal illnesses/diseases. Technically I can do as much harm as I can the same amount I can do good in the world. Once I grow stronger to my healing abilities I could easily heal without feeling exhausted afterwards.

I am still learning more about my inner self such as what gifts do I have hidden away I could use to help people. How I can become a being that will teach others how to connect to their inner selves. To let them expand their consciousness to greater lengths. My Gods have helped me a good bit as well in standing by me as I grow more. What I am very happy about is overcoming the fears that hindered me from growing. I understood who I truly am I had the difficulties of wanting to grow but afraid of the outcome. Now with the other phase I took I didn't even think "No it will not work." "I am not strong enough to achieve something so great." After I went after what I knew would be good for spiritual growth everything felt so much better. It is just what I want to go after next is the real question.

Emerald Tablets and the Kybalion are still highly important. Astral Projection has not been done yet. Maybe later on down the line when I increase my senses it will never hurt to give astral projection a try. The problem with astral projection is the number of different techniques there should only be a few not a zillion. I still have my Tarot cards but haven't touched them in a while. It will just be another thing I plan on doing later on.

Basically I am more focused on growing more spiritually. In each post I may share more of my experiences unless you would enjoy me venturing down into another area of the Occult. It is still super interesting I enjoy it a lot. Although some people may not agree but oh well people have their differences.

Nordic Symbols

I am finally doing another blog post on symbols. Yes I know you guys and girls have been waiting for this for a while now. I am glad you have been so eager to read more on symbols. Nordic Mythology I am pretty familiar with such as Odin, Thor (of course everybody knows him), and Jormangandr or better known as The Midgard Serpent, also Loki a shadow being. Enough of the people of this mythology let us focus on the symbols since we are pretty much discussing that here in this blog post. I am pretty familiar with Norse mythology but not an expert.

Hrunger's Heart this symbol was found on old stone carvings called The Valknut or the hrunger's heart. This symbol has been seen on many funerary motifs and is considered a sign of the afterlife. The Valknut's intertwined shapes including the nine points are usually said to represent the rebirth, pregnancy, and cycles of reincarnation. All 9 points also are said to represent all 9 worlds that surround Yggdrasil or the World Tree.

Yggdrasil also known as the World Tree that is central within Norse Cosmology. The World Tree also had 9 worlds that thrived strongly. Yggdrasil is said to mean Ygg or "Odin's" horse. Yggdrasil is to be a very holy tree. We all know where there is good evil is not far behind trying to throw the world into chaos. A few of the worlds in Yggdrasil include Helheim, Niflheim etc.

Odin's Horn is a symbol that consists of three drinking horns. It also represents Odin who is the father of all Norse gods. Within the Norse eddas this symbol is well known throughout toasting rituals. In most stories the three horns represent the three draughts of the Odhroerir which was a magical mead. This symbol including many other Nordic symbols are used as tattoos to keep these symbols alive and well known throughout the world.

Thor's Hammer 'Mjolnir' which is used in Pagan traditions with Norse backgrounds particularly Asatru. The symbol matches with Thor's power over thunder and lightning. His hammer held the powers of both with each swing of Mjolnir lightning would spew out and burn his enemies to a crisp. Early Pagan Norsemen wore this amulet for protection even after Christianity moved into the region. This symbol is still worn today by many people as a necklace or by other forms of regalia.

Jormungandr also known as the Midgard Serpent "World Serpent". He is a sea serpent and the middle child of the giantess Angrboưa and the god Loki. As it is told in the Prose Edda Odin took Loki's three children Fenrisulfr, Hel, and Jormungandr. Odin tossed Jormungandr into the ocean that circles Midgard. The serpent had grown so large that he placed his own tail within his mouth. If Jormungandr was to ever let go of the tip of his tail the entire world of Yggdrasil would fall. Thor is the opponent of the Midgard Serpent. The Ouroborus symbol is a good representation of the Midgard Serpent being used.

I am glad to finally get this blog post done. I will see what else I could look up and talk about. I may even talk about channeling into the higher realms. If there are any other symbols you would like to see me research into and discuss please feel free to tell me so. I am always open to new topics to explore. I hope you all have a wonderful day. :)
